Patience had just came from highschool,she threw her bag on the couch and made her way in the kitchen near her mum,Patience went near the fridge and got out the whole bottle of chocolate milk and started to drink from it without getting a glass then she went near the counter and leaned on it."Hey mum,I guess you noticed I came back from highschool"Pat said smilin drinking some chocolate milk.

Paige laughed but said nothing as she got up from the table and moved to the cabinet. She opened it and brought out a glass and moved back to her daughter. Placing the glass down for her, she kissed her on the cheek. "I've noticed and please do use a glass, Pat. How was your day?" Paige then stood there looking at her with her back towards the counter top.

"Mum..you know I never use a glass at home but anyway well as usual crappy day,the maths teacher said I was a delinquent yadda yadda yadda"Patience said,"Mum can i ask you something?"she added putting the choclate milk on the counter near her.

"Why would your teacher say that to you? Did you do something?" She thought a moment as she reached out and brushed a strain hair from her eyes and then nodded. "Of course. You know that you can ask me anything."

"noo I didn't do anything..."Patience said turning away from her mum and then urned back to her mum "what would you do if you found out one of you daughters was pregnant?"Pat asked hoping her mum didn't think it was her or her sister.

Paige tried to keep her eyes from popping out of her head at the questions but luckily enough she played it cool. "Hmm well honestly I'd be shocked and a little upset but I'd be completely willing to help her however I could with whatever choice that she wanted to make. I just hope that said daughter would feel comfortable enough to come to me from the very start of the situation and not keep it from me."

"okay...so you took it less freakishly you didn't freak out"Patience said,she wanted to laugh at hermothers expression on her face but she kept it in,"mum don't worry no one's pregnant,I was just asking because one of my best friends you know Laura? she got pregnant and her mum and dad freaked so they sent her out of the house and well she's living with her boyfriend the one who got her pregnant]"Pat explained.

Paige didn't try to hide her relief because she definately was knowing it wasn't her daughters but she felt sad for Pat's friend. "I'm sorry about Laura hun but some parents can't handle the fact that their daughter's aren't still babies. Letting go is pretty hard. I know you and your sister are growing rapidly and it scares me. Would you tell me honestly if it were you or your sister then?"

Patience smiled and looked around the room "it's okay mum I guess some parents are just ass.....I mean freaks and idiots,scares you? what scares you??that we are growing??why?"Patience asked "err no I wouldn't because you would get a heart attack before I would eventually tell you,but Parker would"she added while she took the chocolate milk and drank some more.

"It scares me because one of these days you are going to be completely on your own and won't need me as much if any. There's threats to you now but these threats aren't going to go away and you'll be on your own and a lot of the time not around here, me or your family for protection. Having my children leave the nest is, like I said, scarey for me."

"No I don't think it is easy. Trust me I know it's not but I also know that you are excited and can't wait to have that chapter of your life started. I'd always hope that you'd come back home whenever you had a spare moment because you and your siblings are everything to us. Life just wouldn't be without you." Paige moved to her and hugged her whether she wanted to let her or not.

Patience smiled "well duhh you would have to take care of my kids,you know I'll come evantually because I'll miss you and dad"Patience said laughing a little,then when her mum hugged her she felt like she wanted to cry even more but she still kept it in and hugged her mum tightly "mum now you are going to make me cry,I'm still a 15 year old teenager I have like another 7 years to be with you guys"Pat added.
